Mike Bivins Of New Edition & BBD Joins Us!!

What's up everybody?!!

Our guest this Sunday has been having quite a successful ride in the music industry. In the early 1980s, who could forget our boy belting out tunes like "Candy Girl" & "Cool It Now" with Bobby Brown, Ronnie DeVoe, Ricky Bell and Ralph Tresvant as a part of New Edition.

Audley was so impressed with Bobby's hairdo (see below) back then that he had the same haircut in college which made him an extremely popular ladies man in 1984! Way to go big guy!!

Back to our guest, he would experience more great success with the hip hop and R&B group, Bell Biv DeVoe. I'm sure you guys remember their hit song, "Poison". It was big time cool.

We're happy to have Mr. Mike Bivins on the program! He's a great guy who will discuss his terrific music career plus he will dig deep into his memories as a young baller. Back in the day, Mike had serious handles. He'll tell you all about it.

To find out what Mike is up to these days, check out his website plus you can follow him on Twitter!

Alright, we'll connect with you this Sunday at 9pm ET!!!

Are You Ready For The Buffet?

That's right everybody! Feel free to grab a plate. Pile it on like Audley and I do every Sunday night at 9pm ET! This weekend's episode is filled with an assortment of solid guests!

To tip it off, Cleveland Cavaliers rookie, Danny Green decided to stop to discuss his first NBA season and what it's been like hanging around guys such as LeBron and Shaq.

Danny will also reflect on his successful University of North Carolina career in which he became the program's all-time leader in games played and wins. Yep, not even Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, James Worthy, Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace can say they did that!

Finally, with the Hawks doing well in the playoffs, we thought it was time to release a long, lost interview we had with one of Atlanta's assistant coaches, Jim Todd. He'll pass by to give his thoughts on the squad.

In addition to Green and Todd, we'll be talking about the NBA playoffs non-stop with our man Bobby C!

I hope he reminds Audley that he picked the Blazers over the Suns in the first round. If he doesn't, I sure will.
So, buckle up and get ready because The NBA Breakdown is ready to give you maximum value for your hour!

We'll catch up with you this Sunday night! Later!

Court Cures

Basketball players in North America have a "big problem" when it comes to jump shooting, especially young players according to national shooting specialist, Coach Jim Clayton.

Coach Clayton has helped a variety of NBA players improve their jump shots such as OJ Mayo of the Memphis Grizzlies and Michael Jordan to name a few. Jim is regarded as one of the premier shooting instructors in the nation and has become a highly sought after speaker on the "Art of Shooting".

He's also the owner/CEO of Sports City U Basketball Academy, a year round training facility based out of West Virginia. It's dedicated to improving basketball skills and instills a work ethic that never lets an opponent out perform their players.

Coach Clayton also identifies the problem with LeBron's shot, how Shaq can become a better free throw shooter and why it's so important to understand how the shot and dribble play can help improve a players jump shot.

Check out Coach Jim in action.

To learn more about Coach Jim and his upcoming book, "Court Cures" visit his Facebook fan page or website.

You can also follow him on Twitter.

Welcome Back Escalade!

The 2010 NBA Playoffs are officially here and Dave and I decided to call on our pal Troy "Escalade" Jackson to get his thoughts on who he thinks will be still playing for the Larry O'Brien trophy when June rolls around.

It's always a treat to welcome the former And 1 Mix Tape Tour sensation to the program and Mark Jackson's little BIG brother didn't disappoint as he delivered classic material in true Escalade fashion.

Not only did he give us his thoughts on the NBA Playoffs but Escalade also shared some insights on super rookie, Brandon Jennings, the state of his hometown, Knicks and what he saw Steve Nash doing with a soccer ball one day.
