The Toronto Raptors Select...Damon Stoudamire

It was 15 years ago during the 1995 NBA draft when the Toronto Raptors made a 5ft 10in point guard out of the University of Arizona their first ever draft pick.

That's right, Damon Stoudamire, the guy they called Mighty Mouse instantly became the face of the brand new Toronto Raptors franchise and he certainly didn't disappoint.

Damon had a standout rookie year, capturing the 95/96 Rookie of the Year Award and played an instrumental role in the biggest win of the season over the 72-10 Chicago Bulls, the eventual NBA champs that year.

Dave and I caught up with Damon to talk about the good old days, his love for the city and his special relationship with Isaiah Thomas.

Whether you're a die hard Toronto Raptor fan or not, you'll appreciate this special conversation with a guy who put an entire city on his back.
