Bucks Cast Eastern Conference Preview

What's going down y'all!

I'm always up for getting together with hoops fans and talking NBA ball and as we move closer to the start of the season, the opportunities to break bread with other hoop heads will increase.

Dakota Schmidt recently reached out and asked me to be a guest on the very popular Bucks Cast to Breakdown (PUN FULLY INTENDED) the Eastern Conference from 1 through 15,

We were joined by his co-host Chuck Schilling and dedicated Celtics blogger, Kwapt also hung out with us as well.

The podcast is broken down into two parts and I'll be the first to admit that it was a bit of a marathon as we journeyed through the Eastern Conference. But there was more than enough laughs and great analysis to keep flowing at a nice pace.

Thanks guys for having me on and I'd gladly do it again anytime.

Enjoy!

My man, Mic Boogie!

What's going on y'all!

Die hard followers of The NBA Breakdown will immediately recognize the name Mic Boogie as the dude that provides vocals on the official theme music of The NBA Breakdown.

Well he's back with a brand new track called, "Doesn't Really Matter" featuring Mark Holmes of the 80's new wave group Platinum Blonde.

It's a hot track and even hotter video which was directed by Marc Andre Debruyne and definitely worth checking out!

Please help support my man by requesting the video on Much Vibe or sending an email request to muchvibe@muchmusic.com!

We're Talking Super Teams!

There hasn't been a shortage of opinions on this whole super team thing since the Miami Heat turned the summer of 2010 upside down.

Milwaukee Bucks guard, Brandon Jennings shared his viewpoints on the matter and made it absolutely clear that he doesn't like it and it's bad for the league.

The NBA Breakdown crew thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to unveil it's newest segment, "Don't Listen To Him, Listen To Me"

This is where you'll have an chance to let us know who you think had the more compelling argument.

It's as easy as leaving your comment below.

Check it out!

The Sheriff Speaks

Growing up as a kid, my mom used to say that there`s more than one way to tell a story. Two individuals can go through the same situation but their individual perspectives can drastically impact how the events are told.

On that note, Dave and I have decided to share a story that former Breakdown guest, Olden Polynice told us from his perspective.

You see, while playing for the Utah Jazz, Olden ran into some difficulty with the local authorities and was charged with impersonating a police officer after a minor traffic accident.

As a result, his team suspended him for one-game for pleading guilty to a class B misdemeanor in Salt Lake City for impersonating an officer and disorderly conduct.

As you`ll hear from Olden`s perspective, the events that took place that day weren`t exactly as reported.

Hanging with Olden!

What's going on folks!

Hope you're enjoying your summer! A certain basketball team in South Florida certainly has made it one to remember and brought the anticipation of the upcoming NBA season to a whole new level.

Can't wait!
In the meantime, Dave and I hooked up with 15 year NBA vet, Olden Polynice to get caught up with all the things going on in Big OP's world.

We thought that the timing is pretty good since he was involved in a draft day trade for Mr. Hall of Famer himself, Scottie Pippen back in 1987.

Not a bad deal eh?

Despite not getting to play alongside Michael Jordan, this Haitian born baller still had a very respectable career and you'll get Olden's insights on the deal that sent him to Seattle.

He'll also reflect back on his playing career, weigh in on the current NBA and share his viewpoints on what's happening in his home land of Haiti as they attempt to recover from the devastating earthquake that tore the country apart.

You can watch the video below or listen to the audio version here.
